Memory+ Home Care’s navy caregiver uniform and heart-and-home emblem

Care is personal.
It always has been.

A long history of caring.
A deeper focus on memory.

Memory+ is a new name with established home care roots. We bring more than two decades of care history and the experience of a network spanning the U.S. and Canada to a deeply personal purpose: helping families find more good days at home.

It starts with getting to know the person, not just a list of tasks. What makes them laugh? What helps them feel settled? What would give you a little peace of mind? Those answers belong at the center of a care plan.

more good days in a familiar home

For the moments
you can’t be there.

And the moments you need to be you.

Maybe Mom has started missing meals. Maybe Dad is awake when everyone else is asleep. Maybe you’re managing it all from another state—or you’re right next door and running on empty.

You don’t need to have every answer before you call. We can talk through the day-to-day challenges, the hours when support would help most, and what a comfortable first visit could look like.

Here’s how getting started works
How it works

From first call to first visit in three simple steps

  1. 1

    Free care consultation

Tell us about the routines, support and timing that would make a difference for your family.

  2. 2

    In-home assessment

We discuss the right assessment, the help needed and a proposed care plan before you decide.

  3. 3

    Meet your caregiver

We discuss a suitable caregiver, agreed tasks and the schedule, then confirm arrangements before care begins.

The difference families remember.

Real questions. Thoughtful answers.

What actually happens on the first call?

Tell us what a typical day looks like, what has become difficult, and when you need support. We will ask where your loved one lives, what hours you have in mind, and how best to reach you. You do not need a finished care plan or a diagnosis in hand to start the conversation. The next step is an assessment and a discussion of options—not an obligation to begin care.

Is home care the same as home health or a memory care community?

They provide different kinds of support. Home care helps with everyday routines, personal care and companionship in a person’s home. Home health may include clinician-ordered nursing or therapy. A memory care community provides residential support. We can discuss the daily tasks you need help with; a clinician should advise on medical needs and the level of supervision required.

How do we know whether it is time to bring someone in?

Start with the situations that worry you: meals being missed, difficulty with bathing or dressing, getting lost, nighttime interruptions, or a family caregiver who cannot keep up. Write down when those things happen and what help is missing. You can speak with us before there is a crisis. A sudden change in health or confusion should be discussed promptly with a healthcare professional.

How soon can care start?

The start date depends on the assessment, location, care tasks, schedule and availability of an appropriate caregiver. Tell us if you have a discharge date or another deadline. We will discuss the earliest workable option and confirm arrangements before you rely on a start date.

How much does dementia care at home cost?

The cost depends on the support needed, the number and length of visits, and whether you need daytime, overnight or continuous coverage. We discuss those details with you and explain the proposed schedule and charges before care starts. Ask about minimum visit lengths, weekends, holidays, cancellations and any additional fees so you can compare the full cost.

Can we start with just a few hours, or get help only while I take a break?

Tell us the hours that would make the biggest difference—perhaps mornings, an evening routine or a regular respite break. We will review available schedules and any minimum visit requirements with you. Short-term respite, recurring visits and more extensive coverage are different arrangements; we will confirm what is available for your situation.
